PhDiscussion 5: Social Safety. Sharing experiences, approaches and necessary improvements
The focus of this workshop is on self-exploration. In a safe space we actively explore how to identify and respect your personal boundaries. And, as a logical next step, we explore how to effectively communicate these boundaries to others and what obstacles you may encounter in doing so. As an introduction to this self-exploration we briefly reflect on how to define 'social unsafety' to begin with, differences in 'transgressive behavior' and their implications for an effective response. Naturally, the facilitators can provide information on the support available from the social safety support network within the TU/e.
Join us to share experiences, discover new approaches, and discuss necessary improvements with Stijn van Puijenbroek, PhD-EngD Counselor and Ingrid Vogels, Academic Trainer & Coach. Please fill in the sign up form (https://forms.office.com/e/gwLCw5Ne8z) to attend the 6th of PhDiscussions of E.P.A. Nexus on the topic provided above. The event will take place on the 24th of September between 17:00-19:00 at Vertigo 5.07. There will be drinks and snacks. Looking forward to seeing you there!
